Nonwoven Applications
In the last quarter century significantly more effort has been spent on developing newapplications for regenerated cellulose fibres in nonwovens than in conventional textiles. Where,by the end of the 1960’s the apparel and home furnishings markets for rayon were highly cyclical and gradually declining, rayon had relatively easily achieved a dominant position in the fastgrowing nonwovens industry.
